Since the dawn of time, people have looked for ways to measure their intelligence, personality, beauty and any other criteria that you can imagine. One famous measure is the IQ test. But that’s only one measure, and certainly not among the aptitude tests we would consider fun tests.
People tend to be curious to discover what tests - no matter how silly - say about them. Just go to sites such as Facebook or OKCupid that have many thousands of tests that millions of people have taken. The reason, people always want to see how much knowledge they have on a particular subject or theme, and better yet, they want to be ranked for this type of test.
The goal of AcademicSurveys.net is satisfying this curiosity. We intend to do so both by giving "serious" tests (aka aptitude tests, IQ tests, etc - i.e. try our general knowledge quiz), and "fun" tests (such as "is he really in love with me quizzes" or pirates of the Caribbean quizzes, i.e. try our relationship IQ quiz).
This does not mean we don’t take the subject matter seriously. We’ll also include articles on defining intelligence, both emotional, IQ, and aptitude, as well as ways to improve one’s IQ.
Yes: perhaps we try to tackle too many things but it’s certainly going to be interesting, don’t you think? Give us a chance and take a look. And by all means, send us any suggestions or feedback you may have.
